FarePrice ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your information when you use the FarePrice app and website.
We collect basic device information (device model, operating system version, and a unique device identifier) to provide and improve the Service. We also collect anonymized usage data such as how often you use the app, which features you interact with, and general engagement patterns. This data helps us understand how the app is used and where to focus improvements.
When you connect your ride-share accounts, we process authentication credentials to fetch pricing on your behalf. These credentials are stored securely using industry-standard encryption.
If you submit feedback, the message content is forwarded to our support team.
If the app experiences an unexpected error, we may automatically send a diagnostic report containing technical information about the error and your device type to help us fix issues.
We do not collect or store your pickup addresses, destination addresses, travel routes, GPS location, ride-share passwords, payment information, or personal contact information unless you voluntarily provide it.
We use the information we collect to provide real-time ride price comparisons, manage your account and subscription, improve app performance and reliability, and respond to your feedback and support requests.
Authentication tokens are encrypted on your device using AES-256 encryption. Server-side data is stored in secure databases with HTTPS-only access. Saved favorites are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to our servers.
FarePrice connects to third-party ride-share services (such as Uber, Lyft, and Curb) to retrieve pricing information on your behalf. We also use Google Play for subscription billing and Cloudflare for website security. Each of these services operates under their own privacy policies.
FarePrice is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any ride-share provider.
Analytics data is retained for up to 12 months. Authentication tokens are retained only while your accounts are connected and can be removed at any time by disconnecting in Settings. Subscription data is retained while your subscription is active.
You may disconnect your ride-share accounts at any time, delete your saved favorites, or request deletion of your data by contacting us. You may cancel your subscription at any time through Google Play.
FarePrice is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
